These 5” short-nosed forceps will allow you to get a really firm hold of the hook, even if there is only a relatively small section of metal to grip onto.

Gently rotate the hook, withdrawing it along the same angle that it penetrated, being mindful to be as gentle as possible, avoiding any damage.
