There is little more awkward than trying to cast a long hook link when fishing zigs, and worrying about it getting tangled up in something behind you, or the hook point knocking against something and being damaged. The Zig Magnet completely solves this problem, and this simple device is screwed into a bankstick, positioned behind you in a suitable place for casting, and then your hook is stuck to it via the magnetic head, and only releases when you cast. This completes alleviates any concern about what your hook or hook link could be getting tangled up in behind you, and it keep everything well clear of the ground. The bright green plastic head has a flat, magnetic surface which your hook will stick to easily, and this is on a ball joint so that it can be pivoted to the desired angle. The screw thread on the bottom of it will fit into any standard bankstick.
